Research Papers of UNWE follows the Diamond Open Access model, which imposes no article processing charges (APCs) on authors and no subscription fees on readers. All published materials are accessible immediately and at no cost, without the need for subscription or registration.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) international public licence. This license allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

Authors retain the rights to their works under the terms of this license.

Archiving Policy

To guarantee the long-term preservation of the scholarly record, Research Papers of UNWE uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a LOCKSS-based archive independent of the journal's infrastructure. Publications are additionally deposited in OpenAIRE, openly accessible in institutional repositories and recognised indexing databases, and form part of the Bulgarian Open Science Portal. Full-text PDFs are also mirrored in the UNWE publication repository.
