Authorship Policy

Research Papers of UNWE applies the principles of transparent and responsible authorship in published scholarly work.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the research, including its conception or methodology, data collection or analysis, interpretation of the results, or the drafting and substantial revision of the manuscript. All listed authors must be familiar with the submission's content, approve the version submitted for publication, and accept responsibility for their contribution to the scholarly work.

Individuals who do not meet the criteria for authorship but have contributed to the research may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.

Co-authorship and Corresponding Author

For manuscripts with more than one author, all co-authors must be informed of and agree to the submission of the text. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal throughout the submission, peer-review, and publication process and confirms on behalf of all authors that they have approved the submitted version of the manuscript.

Author Contributions

For manuscripts with multiple authors, the journal encourages authors to specify their individual contributions to the scholarly work. Authors may use CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to describe their contributions, including roles such as conceptualisation, methodology, investigation, data curation, formal analysis, writing, review and editing, supervision, or project administration.

ORCID iD Requirement

All authors must have a registered and authenticated ORCID iD. The ORCID iD must be provided at submission and is published alongside the author's information.
